Sunflowers - Limited Edition Giclée Print
This watercolour painting is very imaginatively titled “Sunflowers”. I don't think sunflowers grow as tall here in the Highlands of Scotland as they do in other parts of the world but they brighten up our summers at any height! My neighbour Granny Beth has a magnificent garden and she kindly let me paint these last summer.
Only the Limited Edition Giclée Prints are available here. The original was painted on handmade Khadi organic cotton rag paper.
With regard to the Limited Edition Giclée Prints, only 95 will be produced in this size - A3. I will sign and number each print individually on the front and sign and date on the reverse. If you would like this printing a different size, gift-wrapped, deckle-edged or have any other queries, please feel free to contact me.
All prints are wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and posted flat. They are unmounted and unframed, ready for you to add a mount and frame of your choice.
The original painting was digitally photographed before being printed onto beautiful Hahnemuhle Roughtexture 310gsm watercolour paper using Epson Ultrachrome HDR (high dynamic range) archival quality pigment inks on an Epson Stylus Pro 7900 printer. What this all means is that the colours and textures are as close as possible to the original, without the price-tag!
As this is a digital print, my printer can produce this image in any size that you want, with or without a border. If you are thinking of buying a frame “off the shelf” it’s handy to have border on the image but if you are considering a custom frame and mount for the print you may want it without the white border. Just contact me if you have any queries about the sizing.
