“A Burst of Summer” is another gathered bunch of flowers where nature took over and it looks more natural than an arranged bouquet of flowers! All the flowers were picked in and around the farm, and I have used a mixture of wet in wet and more realistic styles.

This painting is another one of my paintings from the Highland Seasons exhibition that wasn’t framed before Lockdown began. It can be available framed or simply mounted, probably depending on where you live!

Unlike some of my big sheets where I use the whole page right out to the edge, this painting will benefit from having the mount covering the outer edges of the page.
